SCRIPT CONSULTANT, FILM AND TV
LONDON
MAKE YOUR SCRIPT VIABLE
with Eleanor Greene

I'm an award winning Exec Producer and Script Consultant with broadcast credits across multiple genres. I can help you turn your script into a story that sells, while retaining the passion you began it with. Storytelling is in my DNA, and if you're here, it's in yours too.
Let's get started.
consultancy
I began my career as a runner, where I had privileged access to everyone on set, and by pestering the producers, writers and execs with my comments on the scripts I was photocopying I discovered that being a script editor was a bit like being a magician: You gave feedback on a scene, the scene changed in the next draft, and miraculously the script would be better! Scripts were my calling.
All the shows I've produced I developed from scratch, beginning with a writer who had an idea. I've worked on a sitcom, multi-season dramas, thrillers (my favourite) a Sky movie, an absurdist comedy, political drama, costume drama, book adaptation, police procedural, a BAFTA nominated, Prix Europa winning true-story film, even a documentary.
My current slate includes two feature films, a TV drama, and a stage musical.
I love the script editing process, and my experience has taught me how to read a script by first listening to what the writer is trying to do with it. I can then analytically break it down into its component parts, and help turn the nugget of an idea into a polished screenplay that reflects the writer's goals, getting it noticed, agented, or better still - greenlit.
Do you need to me to read a pitch deck, feature screenplay, or TV pilot? I can offer a zoom call or written feedback.
Or do you want close mentoring to develop a project from idea through to script? (Estimate 3 - 6 months).
Let's have a chemistry call first where we figure out what you need from me. Then we can put together a plan that works for you.

TESTIMONIALS
Eleanor has worked with me on developing numerous scripts over the years. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She knows exactly how to interrogate a script and story to draw out the very best possible version. Her notes are always crystal clear but never prescriptive. Her skill is in asking exactly the right questions to make me realise I had the answers all along! Working with Eleanor always feels like a collaborative experience and I come away reignited and re-excited about the story I've been trying to tell'
Lisa McMullin, Screenwriter
Eleanor pushes for the best work then defends it against being watered down. The hallmark of a top editor - and the difference between a good script and a greenlit one.
Simon Block, Screenwriter
Eleanor’s creative guidance has elevated my skillset as a writer more than anyone else in my career so far. Her advice is worth its weight in gold, and I would recommend her to any writer, whether a beginner or a seasoned professional.
Elizabeth Morris, Screenwriter
Eleanor Greene is an exceptional script consultant, one of the best and most experienced I've used. Industry battle-hardened, she clearly and precisely told me what was working and critically, what wasn't. Her incisive feedback allowed me to reframe some of the larger themes in my script as well as giving specific, detailed notes that brought attention and focus to things that I'd have otherwise missed. She's a lovely person and great to work with on a one-to-one basis.

workshops
I run workshops on everything from 'TV Industry Insight' to 'How to Create a Pitch', as well as the more technical aspects of writing - scene setting, formatting, and how to improve dialogue. I can give lectures on adaptation, as well as the legalities and ethical issues on how to tell true, or real-life stories.
Please get in touch if you'd like to me to run a course or talk to students about something specific in the world of screenwriting.
